Autumn features and new programmes!

Pumpkin décor has hit the shops, and my watchlist started to fill out with autumn classics  - which can only mean one thing…. Halloween season is here! 🎃.

Summer ( the distant memory now) has not been all vacationing though - here at Community Lab, we have added a bunch of new and improved functionality to make organising and participating in groups a lot easier, so you can on what matters most: connecting with your community and pursuing your shared interests.

‍Green ticks - recognising ecosystem builders

First of all, you might have seen the green tick on some of the community lab staff’s profiles. This tick indicates verified users who are part of our ecosystem package - if you would like to see what we have to offer, you can get in touch via the website form. As part of this development, we have also launched our new initiative to support ecosystem builders, in what they do best. Our main mission is enabling organisers and communities to break down siloes, and we cannot do it without the essential people- those who foster and nurture communities! We use a revenue-share model to remunerate ecosystem builders for nurturing communities, facilitating clustering, and shaping diverse ecosystems. Sponsorship space

In our additional effort to highlight ecosystem builders, we have added a space for groups to highlight the sponsorships they receive. This is particularly helpful, if you have a direct sponsor or if you are part of a study cohort, as part of a social enterprise. The sponsor section appears prominently above all posts, highlighting the support received, and provides an expandable space for the sponsor to share their preferred content. It opens up opportunities for your group to thank your founders, or to celebrate a business that supports your work.

Better conversations and platform improvements

We have improved notifications, especially on the posts you follow, to keep you in the loop with what is happening within your group. We have also added speed improvements to the platform , to make is faster and sleeker.
